COMPETENCE OF THE DEPARTMENT

• executes the laws, the other regulations and common acts in the area of agriculture, water management and forestry;
• applies the regulations of  the  Municipal Assembly and the Head of Municipality;
• monitors the status in the areas that was established for, starts initiatives and suggests measures for solving of the problems in those areas;
• carries out inspectional supervisions within the frame of set authority;
• carries out managing, expert and administrative affairs;  
•  prepares developing plans, suggestions of the decisions, other regulations and common acts, analytic-informative and other materials for the area of its field for Municipal Assembly and the Head of Municipality;

THE SERVICES IT OFFERS TO THE CITIZENS

• offers advices, knowledge and instructions for the producers;
• monitoring of selection in cattle breeding;
• establishing of successful market-informative system within the frame of its authority;
• informing of farmers on the achievements in the area of assortment and technology of production;
• encouraging  rural development and improvement of the quality of living an the country;
• encouraging and offering of help for establishing for different types of associations of farmers;
• monitoring, control and notarization of the production that is subsidized.
