September 7^th, 2010 – In Šibovska near Prnjavor tonight it will be legalized the end of the first stage of construction of the well ‘Povelič’ which supplies six local communities in northern part of Prnjavor municipality with drinking water. The Government of Republic of Srpska invested 5.7 million KM in this project, and the total amount for the first stage of construction was 2 million KM. This event which is significant for Prnjavor municipality has been attended by a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Republic of Srpska, Nebojša Radmanović, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikola Špirić, members of the Government of Republic of Srpska and members of the local government. In the following period, it is expected some works to be initiated in the sections towards Prnjavor and on two pools towards Pezerovo Brdo and Maćino Brdo.

September 6^th, 2010 – Delegation of the Government of Republic of Srpska led by Zoran Lipovac, a minister, has visited the Municipality of Prnjavor and discussed modalities of rebuilding damage caused by floods which have seized the Municipality of Prnjavor this year. ‘The Government of Republic of Srpska has made a decision to make up for the damage of individual housing buildings up to 50%, and help with damage on agriculture crops will be suggested to the Government by the field department. It is most likely that the main part will be paid for by writing off fuel and grease and stimuli, if needed’, said minister Lipovac.

September 4^th, 2010 – Today, Mayors of the Municipalities of Čelinac and Prnjavor Momčilo Zeljković and Darko Tomaš respectively have put into operation a section of a local road, being paved with asphalt recently, between villages of Branešci and Čivčije which are located on the border of those two municipalities. They have stressed that this is a good example of a successful collaboration of local communities, of which the residents have the benefit most, and they have also informed us that they will improve the collaboration in the following period of time.

September 3^rd, 2010 – The Municipality of Prnjavor has supported activities initiated by the Police Station – Department for Traffic Safety in Prnjavor and tarpaulins with the inscription ‘Drivers Be Careful – A New Academic Year Is To Begin’ have been put nearby schools along local roads, as well as in regional and main roads. Aim of these activities is to warn and pay drivers’ attention to presence of school children in the streets and roads.
